teaching
I absolutely love to teach! I feel incredibly fortunate to work with so many amazing students over the past 25 years. My teaching philosophy is simple - I love to inspire and motivate my students to be kind, hard-working and curious artists as well as expressive musicians. I believe learning is a life-long process, that everyone learns differently, and that everyone is unique and has special gifts. I love to give my students tools that allow them realize their potential, to become fantastic musicians and successful in life.
Let me help you!
I am extremely proud of all my students. I have worked with hundreds of students over the years, many of which have gone on to study music in college and have earned scholarships. My former students currently hold positions as middle school and high school band directors, college professors, private trombone instructors, and music copyists, and perform in symphony orchestras, jazz groups, military bands and rock bands.
I love to motivate and inspire people to meet their potential. I enjoy working with students of all ages, playing levels and abilities. Do you need help with any of the following?
